President Obama addressed several issues including health care, foreign affairs, the situation in Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood. I had never heard of the Muslim Brotherhood until I saw the interview but I knew that President Obama is very big on refining the nations health care situation. The situation in Egypt is getting worse and worse with Mubarak refusing to step down, and it seems to me that the country is at the brink of an extremely serious and violent conflict.
The Muslim Brotherhood is an extremist group in the region where the anti Mubarak demonstrations are taking place. Bill O'Reilly is worried that if the United States gets involved then the Brotherhood could try to retaliate with an attack on the United States.
I think that the most difficult aspect of being president would be all the stress put on your life, especially in a country like the United States. The U.S. is involved in many worldly conflicts that have nothing to do with the Unites States except to maintain world peace. The constant need to make decisions in hundreds of different situations can make for a very difficult situation for a President. I feel that that could be the toughest part of running the nation.

1) The President addressed President Mubarak and the situation in Egypt. Citizens want Mubarak to step down as President and are protesting in the streets. Another situation that was addressed was whether the health care bill was constitutional and that it is now at the Supreme Court. O’Reilly asked Obama whether he was prepared for the bill to be thrown out and he dodged the question. Republicans will continue to oppose the health care bill and make it extremely difficult for Obama to pass in his term as President.

2) The Muslim Brotherhood is a large, radical Islamic political group in Egypt. They preach Islam and want to overthrow Mubarak. Bill O’Reilly is concerned because they are well organized and seem to be anti-U.S. Said O’Reilly “they are tough boys and I don’t want them anywhere near that government” Obama wants a representative government that can be partners with the U.S.

3) I feel the toughest part of being President would be the fact that your every move is being watched. As President, you are never on vacation. Everything you say and do can be taken out of context and scrutinized. The most difficult aspect of being President is the fact that you can never have a break and that everything you say and do can effect your entire nation and the world.

In this interview President Obama addressed many issues. These include the situation in Egypt, healthcare, and the economy. He does not know what Mubarak is planning to do. He told us that there is debate as to whether or not the health care bill is constitutional or not. When he addressed the economy he said that it is growing.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a group in Egypt. It is not a particularly large group. some of them have anti-United States views.Bill O'Reilly is worried about them. He called them "tough boys" and said he would not want them anywhere near the Egyptian government.

As President, the most difficult part would be keeping the citizens happy. No matter what you do, you will face criticism. There is no way to please every single American. At the same time you have to stay true to yourself and the promises you have made.

1. President Obama had addressed many issues such as foreign affairs in Egypt and health care. The foreign affairs in Egypt include Mubarak and the Muslim Brotherhood. I had known a little bit of the crisis in Egypt but nothing on the Muslim Brotherhood. I had also little knowledge on health care but I did know that President Obama has tried to make it easier on citizens.

2.The Muslim Brotherhood is a faction group in Egypt that want to take over the government after Mubarak. They are not the majority in Egypt but they are anti- U.S. and Bill O'Reilly is worried that they will be a threat to the U.S. if they take over in Egypt. Neither O'Reilly nor Obama want them near the government.

3.The most difficult aspect of being President is that there are people who don't agree with you and will do anything to see you fail. For example, in passing a new law that you may think will help the citizens, it may not get passed. Another thing is that in foreign affairs, you may have to hold back on what you want done in order for the country to trust you more.

3What do you think would be the most difficult aspect of being President? The most difficult aspect being a president is everyone is watching your every move and you try to make every citizen happy but you just can’t make everyone happy.

The issues brought up by President Obama mainly had to do with the current situation in Egypt, foreign affairs, and health care. I know that there are violent protests occurring in Egypt now because of increasing unemployment rates and the fact that the people want their President, Mubarak, to leave his position in the government, for many reasons. Obama and O'rielly both do not know what move Mubarak will make next, but they both agreed that if he steps down, less people will continue to die. There was also some discussion on whether the new health care bill is constitutional or not. Obama and O'rielly also agreed that better government regulation in the United States and Egypt would help.
The Muslim Brotherhood is one faction in Egypt with out majority support. This group is against the United States and Obama and O'rielly are both worried what the group will do in Egypt.
I think the most difficult aspect of being President is doing interviews. When Obama does an interview, it is typically broad casted so the whole world could see. I think the hardest part is being prepared to answer any question that is asked to him. In addition, I think it would be hare to always try and make sure that you are building a competitive society that promotes good relationships with foreign countries.

No topic was off-limits in Bill O’Reilly’s pre-Super Bowl interview with the President. O’Reilly tackled everything from the current situation in Egypt to the controversial health care reform bill to which team the President was rooting for during the big game. I know that Egypt is exploding with violence and protests and the controversy there centers on their current president, Mubarik. Egypt is a primarily young nation, and with high levels of unemployment, two camps, one for the current government, and one in favor of ousting it, have formed. The result has been a rising death toll and many foreign journalists have been attacked as well. The President sides with the group attempting to oust Mubarik, and he asserts that if the transition is a peaceful, a new, more stable government can be established. O’Reilly and others however fear the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist political group that seeks to teach the Qur’an and has been linked to radicalism. This group is alive and well in Egypt, and many other Arab nations, and in chaos, they could possibly gain control of the government and relations between the United States and Egypt could be cut off completely.
The health care reform bill, also known as “Obamacare” is a national health care program. This topic came up in the interview because it was recently declared unconstitutional by a judge in Florida, who claims that forcing people to buy a health care policy violates their inalienable rights. A number of other states have also raised cases against the costly bill, which will force states to add an even larger burden to their already maxxed out budgets. The President appeared confident that the Florida judge had no case, but the case will most likely make it to the Supreme Court where a final decision will be made. The President also asserted that he is not willing to let the promise that he staked his campaign on fail, rather than responding to O’Reilly’s question about how he would respond in the face of defeat, the President said he will not see people be denied for pre-existing health conditions.
I believe President Obama made a good point when he said being “in the bubble” is a very difficult part of being President, but I believe the hardest part would be to stay true to your beliefs and principles. With so many decisions being presented before you, and so many consequences and criticisms associated with those criticisms, I think it would be very easy to forget what you ran for and who you are as a person, and hold on to your view for the country. I believe the truly great Presidents are the ones who have a principled set of beliefs and stick to those principles no matter what.

1). The president addressed the situation with the Egyptian president. The citizens of Egypt want him to step down after a 30 year presidency and they are starting protests. He also talked about the health care laws and how a judge in Florida said they were unconstitutional. All I know about these laws is that the U.S. is going from a single payer health care system to a mandate health care system. And he talked about the Muslim Brotherhood which I will get into next.

2). Before watching this video I had no idea what the Muslim Brotherhood was. Now I know that it is a faction in Egypt without a majority support group against the U.S. and it is the largest political opposition organization in many Arab states. They want to take the gov't after Mubarak steps down. Bill O'Reilly is worried because he views them as a potential threat to the U.S.

3). I think the toughest aspect of being the President would be that I would have to watch what I say or do because it could be used against me for, essentially, the rest of my life. And I also think it would be hard to keep up good relationships with foreign countries that we have been corresponding with.

1)Some issues identified in the conversation between president Obama and news reporter Bill O'Reilly are the problem in Cairo and universal health care. The problem in Cairo is the president is not giving what the people want and the health is being shut down by republicans.

2)The Muslim brotherhood is a group of men who are all followers of the Islam traditions. The reason why Bill is worried because they are anti-u.s. and are pretty dangerous.

3)i think the most difficult aspect about being the president would have to be finding a solution. If you were giving a problem you have to find a way to solve it and if you don't you lose your trust from the American people. Though its nowhere near that easy because one solution always contradicts with someone "solutions" to that problem.

President Obama addressed the conflict in Egypt/foreign affairs. I know that the majority of the Egyptian population is not content with their current president, Husni Mubarak. Husni Mubarak has been the President of Egypt for 30 years. The Egyptian people are conducting protests in the streets of Cairo as well as all over Egypt to show their dissatisfaction with him. They want President Mubarak to give up his presidency. There have also been allegations that he has fixed past elections in order to keep his Presidency. Even though I am politically neutral, I believe that this is unfair. Another issue addressed was Healthcare. The issue regarding healthcare is weather it is constitutional. The Republicans are strongly against the Healthcare reform. Another topic that Obama covered regarded tax issues. Obama claims that he lowered taxes over the last two years.
The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamist movement who are followers of Islamic traditions. They are the largest political opposition organization in many Arab states and are anti-United States. When I watch the news, they show the Muslim Brotherhood. Bill O’Reilly states, ‘they are tough boys. I wouldn’t want them anywhere near the government.’ O’Reilly believes that the Muslim Brotherhood is dangerous and violent.
The most difficult aspect of being President would be trying to make the best decision for the country. Almost every issue has two sides. Therefore, it would be hard to make a decision that pleases everyone. If I were President, I would constantly be in fear of making the wrong decision which may put my country in jeopardy.

1. Within this interview President Obama addressed many issues. One current event that he discussed was Present Mubarak in Egypt and all the controversy surrounding him. He said that freedom of the press and free speech were not only rights of Americans, but universal rights that everyone should be entitled to. He said that now that Mubarak is not running for reelection he just hopes for a good transition to a representative government for the country. We have had a partnership with Egypt for many years and Obama wants to continue that as well. He also was asked about how he felt about the Florida judge ruling that the healthcare law is unconstitutional, which he disagreed with. I do not follow politics so other than hearing that people dislike the healthcare laws, all of what was mentioned on the video was new information to me.

2. The Muslim Brotherhood is an extremist group in Egypt that is anti Mubarak. They have ideas that show they are anti U.S. and could possibly be a threat if they gained power in Egypt. Bill O'Reilly says that the Muslim Brotherhood are "tough boys" and he would not want them near our government. This is probably because they have different views than most Americans and could be dangerous.

3. In my opinion the most difficult aspect of being President would be the constant scrutiny of every decision you make. It seems that Obama is criticized on both what he believes as a politician as well as decisions he makes in his everyday life. Knowing that people truly hated you and believed you were inadequate for your job would really bother me as well. It would be hard enough having the pressure to make decisions that affected the lives of all Americans, but it seems even harder if you knew that at least half of the country would disagree with you.

There was several issues that President Obama address including the Situation with Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the health care issues. The situation in Egypt I am very familiar with because I hear on the news and also talk about it my modern world history class. I have never heard of the Muslim Brotherhood but i can tell from the interview that they could be a big threat to us. The Brotherhood definitely seems like a terrorist group waiting to strike. The health issues i have heard many times before and it can be issue for me in the future if I myself get sick and or have a family.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a Islamic transitional movement group. I think that Bill O'Reily is worried about because they could be a potential harm to us in the future or now. It seems to me that this brotherhood could potential be a terrorist group that could be planning to strike and attack us out of surprise. If this happens then it could have a big impact on the future of the United States.

I think that the most difficult aspect of being President is deciding what the right choices is are for our country. Being the President already has enough stress in it but making choices is probably the most biggest ones. This is because when you feel like you have the right decision and you make it you do not know if it will be the right or wrong one for the country. People may have mix feelings towards you depending on what your choice is of course. Also if you make a choice to become allies or not be allies with different countries. You would not what the outcome or impact could be if you don't ally a country they could attack and possibly destroy your country. Being president comes with many difficult aspects but making the right choices is the biggest one.

In the interview with Bill O’Reilly, President Obama addresses questions regarding the uprising in Egypt and the universal health care bill. The revolt in Egypt is a result of many social, economic factors that the Egyptians wish for their government to address. Mubarak, the 76-year-old president of Egypt, has been in power for more than three decades now. He was able to hold on to power for so long due his use of military regime. Under his government, the eighty million Egyptians have long been subjected to economic depression, limited rights as citizens and suppression. The recent revolt in their neighboring country Tunisia inspired many young, fresh-blooded Egyptians to stand up for their beliefs and fight for freedom. Millions and millions and Egyptians by organizing through social networks, decided to march in Cairo in demonstration of their indignation toward the government. They demand President Mubarak to step down immediately. I agree with President Obama on his view that no matter what happens, an ordered and peaceful transition should take place in Egypt. As for the health bill, I support it, but not wholeheartedly. I would like to see what the decisions that the Supreme Court makes. The Muslim Brotherhood is an organized political group in Egypt, which is comprised of Islamic believers. O’Reilly is worried because if this group was to take power at the end of Mubarak’s term, its leaders may favor a pro-Arab policy. The group may hinder the U.S.’s effort in trying to fight the Muslim extremists. The delicate relationship between Israel and Egypt may break. I think that President Obama did a great job answering the issues brought forth by O’Reilly. The most difficult aspect in being a president, in my opinion, is that answering tough questions put forth by one’s opponents.

In this interview between Bill O' Reilly and President Obama they discussed the issues of Egypt. How President Mubarak won't step down, causing many problems in Egypt, Egypt needs a responsive Government. Also they addressed the foreign health care and also the Obamacare saying it was unconstitutional. Bill O' Reilly had said that people were saying he was redistributing wealth but Barrack denied it.
They also conversed about the Muslim Brotherhood and how Bill O' Reilly was quite worried about it. He was concerned that they're a threat to USA and Obama said their ideology was Anti-US. They also talked about how it is being the president of the United States and that he's changed but is just less spontaneous. The hardest part of the job to Barrack is being in a bubble all the time and never having time to escape.

1) Health care is one issue that he discussed. Many people feel that everyone should be provided health care, while others feel that it is ones responsibility to get health care for themselves. He discussed Egypt and their current struggle to create a stable government. The people are currently rebelling against their president of thirty years, Mubarak.I heard that the only reason he was in power for that long was because anyone running against him was killed or put in prison.
2)The Muslim Brotherhood is a political group in Egypt. He is worried that the group may gain control of Egypt and could become a threat to the United States.
3)The most difficult thing about being president would be having people watching you all of the time. People are constantly listening in on him and watching him. He has to be careful about what he says and does all of the time. He cannot leave his house without security and paparazzi.

President Obama addressed a few very important issues in his interview with Bill O'Reilly, including health care, the situation in Egypt and the possible threat the Muslims pose to America. I was already aware of the situation in Egypt, but I didn't know that Egypt was such a large ally to the United States, helping them with counter terrorism efforts and keeping the peace in Israel. In terms of the Muslim situation, I was aware of them. I think we are all wary of Muslims and curious as to whether or not they will pose a threat on the safety of Americans again. For health care, I was not aware of the federal judge in Florida calling the new health care laws unconstitutional or that the Supreme Court might agree and shoot down the laws. Health care is important to a lot of people and it's important that we figure that out.
I had never heard of the Muslim Brotherhood until this interview. The Muslim Brotherhood are a radical group that are anti-Mubarak. They pose a threat to the kind of government that the Egyptian people want. What worries Bill O'Reilly is that if the United States gets involved and interferes with the Muslim Brotherhood, they may retaliate against the United States.
I would agree with President Obama as to what the most difficult aspect of being President is. I feel that being faced with challenging problems all the time would be unbearable. As Obama said, you are aware that when a problem reaches you, it's because nobody else could solve it. That adds on even more pressure on top of the original pressure of using your best judgment to make a good decision that would impact the American people positively as well as the pressure of running an entire nation. Knowing that whatever I say could make a huge impact on the people, positively or negatively, would be too much for me to handle.

There were two issues that were brought up in the interview between President Obama and Bill O'Reilly. The first issue was on the current situation in Egypt. Bill O'Reilly complimented the state department in safely bringing home news reporters. Mubarak has refused to step down until his term ends which has caused unrest in Egypt and has made it very dangerous for people. Bill O'Reilly brought up a good point when he asked President Obama if he was worried that Mubarak knew too many U.S. secrets. President Obama replied that Egypt has been a very good partner with anti-terrorism efforts. Another issue presented was with Health care reforms, the nation is split in two over this topic. A judge in Florida has declared that the health care reform is unconstitutional. Bill O'Reilly then asked whether he was ready for the bill to be thrown out and he avoided the question. President Obama also said the bill was not socialists because it helps people pay for treatment they otherwise could not afford. The economy was also mentioned in the interview where President Obama said he has lowered taxes over the past two years. He talked about how people are losing jobs to overseas competitors. This also tied in with the health care because he believed that Americans should help other Americans if they can't afford health care.
The Muslim Brotherhood is an extremist group in Egypt, they are part of the anti Mubarak protest. They are also openly known to resent the U.S. and there involvement in Egypt. Bill O'Reilly is worried about them coming to power because of their hatred towards the American people.
The most difficult part about being President of the United States of America is that everyone is watching your next move and that your decision greatly affects the people that elected you. President Obama has to deal with the many problems the U.S. is involved with including the Health care debate in which is one of his major bills that he wants. Also with the conflicts in Egypt, he needs to take a diplomatic stance that will not anger anyone which can be very difficult to do. In the interview President Obama said that all the easy problems are solved by someone else and he has all the complicated ones.

1. President Obama addressed alot of issues during the interview. He adressed the situation happening in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, and health care. I know that in Egypt, alot of violence is happening because they aren't happy with their current president, Hosni Mubarak. The people of Egypt want president Mubarak to step down as president and alot of protests are happening and many people are dying. Before watching this interview, I didn't know who the Muslim Brotherhood was and I never heard of them. I also knew that there was alot of debate about the health care bill.
2. The Muslim Brotherhood is a political Islamic organization who are against President Mubarak and want to overthrow him as president. Bill O'Reilly is worried because the Muslim Brotherhood seems to not really agree with the U.S. O'Reilly doesn't think it would be good if they took over Egypt, because then, they could be a threat to the U.S.
3. I think the most difficult aspect of being President would be having to deal with foreign affairs and keeping good relationships with other countries and trying to keep everyone in the U.S pleased. I think all these problems the president is faced with everyday would be really hard and eventually get tiring.

1) Identify the issues addressed by President Obama. What do you know about them?
2) Who is the Muslim Brotherhood? Why is Bill O'Reilly worried?
3) What do you think would be the most difficult aspect of being President?

Several key issues were discussed in the Bill O'Reilly interview with President Obama, especially the topic of healthcare and the current conflict in Egypt. O'Reilly brought up healthcare, or "ObamaCare," because it was in the process of being tossed by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional to the American people. Obama supported universal healthcare for it provides medical aid and assistance to Americans who are unable to afford the medical costs, but O'Reilly stated that the idea was never supported by the majority of the American people for a number of different reasons. The conflict and protests in Egypt also took up a good portion of the conversation, for Egypt's current leader, Mubarak, has consistently refused to step down from power in the last few weeks. Mubarak has been in power for about three decades, and Egypt wants more freedom and change for their country. However, O'Reilly, as well as many Americans, fear that the Muslim Brotherhood, a faction in the Middle East, will get involved in the new government that Egypt demands. The Muslim Brotherhood has strands of ideology to harm America, and a group like that with power in Egypt may pose a threat to America's safety and security.
I believe the most difficult aspect of being president is believing in the decisions you make as president to be the best for the American people. Any decision the president makes is going to be vigorously disagreed with by some individuals in politics and the public, and the confidence to stand behind that decision can be severely affected when facing such negative reviews. I would find it extremely hard to carry out decisions that affect a country of over 300 million people for good or worse, especially at times like these where so many serious issues are happening inside and outside American borders.

1) In his interview with Bill O'Reilly, President Obama addressed the issues of the conflict in Egypt, healthcare, the Superbowl, and his opinion on being the president. He spoke about the current status of the U.S. relationship with Egypt. He also talked about the trial with healthcare being unconstitutional and deemed it as not a strong concern. I personally know about them through the news. He also addressed an issue with journalists that I had not heard about.
2) The Muslim Brotherhood is an opposition organization in Arab States. They are attempting to cease control of Egypt in its current weakened state. Bill O’Reilly is concerned that the Muslim Brotherhood will cease control of the government in Egypt and Obama said himself that they have some anti-American ideals.
3) I think the most difficult part of being president would be the fact that people in other disagree with you no matter how hard you try to make things right. You must do what you think is best but the fact is that people will always disagree and certain people will also want you dead, and all that America stands for to die as well. Those people might be Americans or people of foreign nations. America has put itself in the position where it must try to be in the business of many other countries. The key to failure is trying to make everyone happy, and that is precisely what America has been doing for years and has gained a reputation for doing so. You can only put your nose where it doesn’t belong so many times before you lose it.

1) Identify the issues addressed by President Obama. What do you know about them? Pres. Obama dressed Egypt, the Muslim brother hood, if he had changed his views on government. If he was left or right or in the mid, he denied being left or in the mid. He discussed health care, and what he felt is the hardest part of being Pres. i don't really know much about any or the things discussed.

2) Who is the Muslim Brotherhood? Why is Bill O'Reilly worried?
The Muslim Brotherhood to me seems like a Egyptian terrorist group. Bill is worried because they are such a tough bunch of guys. in his works they are "tough boys".

3) What do you think would be the most difficult aspect of being President?
I feel that the most difficult thing about being Pres. would be keeping every one "happy". meaning keeping allies not wanting to make people not like you. i feel like if you are the Pres. that you should try n make every on happy but also keeping your home safe is more important. i feel that Obama should worry more about being a good Pres. here than in another country.

Obama addressed several issues within the interview including the situation in Egypt, health care, the economy, and the hardships of being president. Although I had known the Egyptian people were rioting against their president Mubarak I did not know there was a possibility of the group the Muslim Brotherhood coming to power. This group was explained in the interview as a more violent group that had some anti-U.S. ideas. This worried Bill O’Rielly because if they came to power he was afraid they would turn on the United States. The next issue about health care came up because the bill’s constitutionality is being questioned. Obama defended the bill saying that people with pre-existing medical conditions should not be denied health care or left alone to go bankrupt. On the other hand, many people think this bill is too intrusive of our personal lives. This led into discussion about the economy that Obama claimed was getting better because jobs were increasing. I’m not sure about the details of what is going on with the economy but I don’t think that it is in a state yet where we can say it’s fixed and move on. The last topic was that of the difficulties that come with being the president. I completely agree with Obama that the hardest part would be the decisions he has to make because they are not easy decisions. Also, when he makes the decision it is final so he has to be ready to deal with the consequences. Personally I would never be able to handle the pressure of knowing my word could effect millions of people in a possibly negative way

This interview was very interesting. The attacks made on Obama by Bill O’Reilly were completely futile, which was very enjoyable. In this interview Obama discussed several issues such as the situation in Egypt, the Muslim brotherhood, Universal Health Care and questions raised about himself. I think everyone can say they have heard of the situation in Egypt, in fact some of my dad’s colleagues are there right now. However I learned several things about it from this interview. The Egyptians want freedom and a representative government, Mubarak has already decided not to rerun for election. The problem is that it has to transition to a more representative government in this time. I also learned that Mubarak has supported the U.S. in several occasions and Obama claims that the U.S. has told Mubarak that suppressing the people will not last. Obama then goes on during the part about the Muslim brotherhood to discuss that there are not only two options there are many other ideas and parties in Egypt. Obama strongly believes Egypt will have a representative government that will be able to work with the U.S.. Next the topic about Health Care Bill. It was turned down by a judge in Florida, however the question still remains if the Supreme Court will rule it constitutional. I wholly agree with Obama on all his points: people should have a right to health care even if they have a preexisting condition, people should not go bankrupt because they are sick. I feel that because of the financial crisis in the last two years this is where the main opposition came from. But I think this is very important for society, I cannot imagine not having healthcare. And the claims that it won’t be good or too expensive, well looking at other governments like Canada we can see that it works very effectively. I also say that Obama was very open to change the Bill and listen to the ideas of the Republicans. I also really liked how adamant Obama was in his ideas.

I did not know about the Muslim Brotherhood. They I can defer from this interview is a political group in Egypt, that has some anti-America feelings and is well organized. They may be one of the groups of people taking power if Mubarak steps down. O’Reilly is scared that if they are in power America will be in a bad position and have another enemy. Also they are pro-arab which will be bad for the Israeli situation.

I think the most difficult part being president is dealing with people like O’Rielly. O’Rielly continuously throughout the interview attacked Obama, in his thoughts and actions. But even through this Obama handled it really well. If I was attacked this way, I would be upset, and would not be able to handle myself. This also brings in another issues with being president having to be public to everyone. I need privacy, I wouldn’t want to not be able to have that “spontaneous conversation” and having to be careful as to what I say would be awful! Obama also mentioned how when problems come to him they are not problems with easy solutions. Having to make a majority of people happy, seems incredibly difficult. Obama has been doing an incredible job dealing with everything.

1) President Obama and Bill O'Reilly had a very interesting conversation, including the current situation in Egypt and health care in the United States. As for the situation in Egypt, I know that Mubarak is being forced out of government by the Egyptian citizens. After some research I discovered that Mubarak has been suppressing the Egyptian people, which has left them poor and itching for a fight. The problem with health care is something that I know even less about. I know that President Obama is trying to create a universal health care so people don’t have to die just because they are sick and can’t pay for health care. In the interview Bill O’Reilly asked Obama about what he was going to do if they rule it as unconstitutional, and the president said that he will try but he won’t spend two years going over what he has fought to make his first two years in office.
2) I don’t know a lot about the Muslim Brotherhood, but I do know that it is a group that consists of Muslims who spread their radical ideas to Islamists. The interview said that the brotherhood has only a few seats in the government over seas, but they are very well organized. I feel that Bill O’Reilly is worried that if the gain control of the government system, things can only become more chaotic and the Muslim Brotherhood will take out its anger on places other than Egypt (like the United States).
3) I feel that the worse part about being the president is all of the problems you are faced with. As Bill O’Reilly put it; “wave after wave” with every problem, and President Obama feels that he can only make decisions that he feels is best and what he thinks will work the best. When you are the Commander and Chief of the United States you are confronted with all of the difficult problems that affect the whole nation, and sometimes outside the nation.

In his interview with O’Riley Obama address numerous issues. He spent the most time discussing issues such as the crisis in Egypt and Mubarak’s presidency, the potential for the Muslim Brotherhood entering Egyptian government affairs, the court cases (such as in Florida) that deal with the constitutionality of the Health Care Reform Law. He also touched upon his own political views when discussing other domestic issues in addition to images the media portrays him as and how he is not always how they paint him. (The super bowl was also touched upon considering it was super bowl Sunday.)
The Muslim Brotherhood is the "world's most influential Islamic movement." Their political approach revolves around the Islamic religion, where they desire to return to the precepts of the Qur'an in addition to rejection of Western influences. O'Riley is worried about this organization because he believes that the Muslim Brotherhood has "tough boys" that should go no where near Egyptian government when the time for installing a new government comes.
I believe that the most difficult aspect of the presidency is the fact that you are no longer able to have direct and spontaneous interactions with the people you serve. As president this connection is important but as president certain safety measures must be taken and public appearances and spontaneous public speeches have the potential to shift the economy and the global market or affect other issues. Also, as President Obama stated, the weight of the office can be great. Every bill and proposal that comes to his desk are issues that can’t be solved easily nor will necessarily be able to achieve a perfect solution. Instead, he must always decide what is best for the country and sometimes that means making a decision some citizen’s don’t approve of.

1) The main issues addressed by President Obama were health care reforms and the situation in Egypt. Health care legislation, from what I know, has been shut down many times by the republican party. Though Obama's intentions were to improve health care and give people more stability, many believe against this. The situation in Egypt involves violence from Mubarak's difficulty in stepping down from his presidency.

2) The Muslim Brotherhood is a well organized, but small in number, Islamic group in Egypt. They're main goal is to overthrow the government after Mubarak. Bill O'Reilly is worried about how tough they are, they could be threat to the United States. He goes on to say he wants them no where near government due to their extreme and unjust actions.

3) The most difficult part of being president must be all of the criticism and disagreement from the public. Each move he makes and each thing he says is being judged, so the pressure to have approval from the public must be overwhelming at points. In that interview alone Obama was receiving a lot of questions about criticism and how he reacts to people hating him, so out of interviews must be just as harsh.

1) President Obama commented on how he helped to make sure several reporters from the United States in Cairo were safe, as Egypt is wrought with tumult right now in their citizen's quest for freedom, free elections, and a representative government. Obama comments on Mumbarak and that he has agreed not to run for office again once his term is up. Mumbarak's violence and suppression, according to Obama, is what is causing the people of Egypt to protest. I had heard about the protests in Egypt, and I did know that Mumbarak had agreed not to run for president again. I did not know about the reporters, however. Obama also discussed the Muslim Brotherhood, who I had not heard of before hearing this interview. They also discuss the new healthcare law, because a judge in Florida said it was unconstitutional. It will be going to the supreme court. I know that Obama wants to make healthcare available for every citizen of the United States. He also discusses taxes, and how he lowered taxes over the last two years. I did not know anything about tax issues recently.
2) The Muslim Brotherhood is political group in Egypt, and they have anti-U.S. ideologies which are upsetting to some people. O'Reilly is worried that they could be a threat to the USA by coming into power in Egypt. Obama pointed out that there are many other parties in Egypt that are trying to step into government.
3)I think the most difficult part of being president is that you have so many vastly different people you are trying to please and make decisions for. Not everyone is going to agree with your choices, but you have to merely make the best choices you can.

The issues President Obama addressed were, the current problem in Egypt and health care. The current problem in Egypt is the people are not happy with President Mabarak but he will not step down so they are protesting. President Obama is having trouble trying to get universal health care but many people are not happy with it.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the anti U.S group of Islamist extremists. O'Reilly is worried about what the group will do in Egypt because they are very dangerous.

If I were President the most difficult aspect of being President would be accepting the fact that i could not make anyone happy. Also knowing that there were a lot of people who didn't like me would be hard to accept. Having so many responsibilities would be really hard.

1.) One of the major topics covered in this interview was the Egyptian revolution. however, since this interview was filmed, the Egyptians successfully removed president Mubarak from power, and the military has assumed control of the country for the time being. President Obama and Bill O'Reilly both believe that the Muslim Brotherhood will take control of Egypt in the near future. Another topic the president covered was the health care plan. He explains that he is trying to compromise with the republicans to get the bill passed through congress.

2.)The muslim brotherhood is a faction in Egypt who are trying to take control of Egypt once Mubarak leaves office. Some of the people in that faction though are anti-US, and for that reason Bill O'Reilly is worried that the brotherhood won't put a person in power who will have friendly relations with the US.

3.)I believe that almost every aspect of the job of being president is difficult. However, if I needed to choose one aspect, it would be that your decisions affect everybody in the country, and the public may not agree with your choice. I cannot even imagine the stress put on him everyday to decide what the country will do each day.

1. In this interview with Bill O'Reilly President Obama addressed a couple if different issues. One issue he discussed was the current situation in Egypt. He cannot be sure about what President Mubarak's plan is, but does recognize that the citizens of Egypt would like to see Mubarak step down. Another issue he addresses is the the controversy over the health care bill. Many people see his bill as unconstitutional, and as an attempt to redistribute wealth, but Obama denies that, saying that he sees it as beneficial to all people.
2. The Muslim Brotherhood is a faction group in Egypt. Although they are not a majority of the people they worry O'Reilly. this is because they do have anti-US views, and could pose a threat if they do take over if Mubarak steps down.
3. The toughest thing about being the president of any country would be trying to please everyone. no matter what compromises the president makes people will always be unhappy.

The issues addressed by the President were primarily the conflict in Egypt along with the Muslim Brotherhood and more local issues such as the Health Care Reform Bill. I know that Egypt's President had an Iron Grip rule on his people and was never actually elected, the people were not happy with his rule and fought against it. Currently, he is soon stepping down from office. I don't know too much about the conflict with the health care reform, just that republicans are against it because they view it as something that could be socialist.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical group that wants to take over Egypt's government once Mubarak is out. Bill O'Reilly is worried about them because they are a threat to the U.S. since they are known to be Anti-US.
The most difficult part of being President in my opinion is the constant stress. You have an entire nation lying on your shoulders and people's lives are always in danger as well as yours. I essentially realized that you have to be crazy if you want to be president.

Currently President Obama is trying to give everyone American what they want most. This would be universal Health Care, im sure within the Presidents next 2 years of his presidency will be more focused on getting Health Care bills passed rather than trying to stimulate the economy. Following what he had to say about what is currently happening in Egypt. I hope that all the chaos that is currently overseas in Egypt is solved after or maybe even before they get a new President.
2)The Muslim Brotherhood is a group of extremists that are a small part of Egypt but they seem to be a big threat to not only the United States but also Egypt once re-election comes around. President Obama addresses several issues in this segment. Some of which include the current situation in Egypt and healthcare. I had already known that in Egypt there were outbreaks of violent rioters who want to get their current president out of office because he suppresses the citizens. Obama says how Mubarak is not running for office again but he is unsure of when he will leave because the U.S. cannot dictate their country. Obama also addresses how they have been peaceful and helpful in foreign affairs such as in Israel. As far as healthcare, Obama believes everyone should get healthcare coverage.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a well organized, violent group who are not supported by the majority but still have some power because of their strength. O'Reilly is worried if the U.S. intervenes with this situation and stops the Muslim Brotherhood from gaining control of Egypt that they will retaliate and become a threat to the United States in their state of anger.
The hardest part of being president is having to make the most difficult decisions because as Obama said, the easy decisions get solved earlier in the chain, but the really complexing problems get sent to him.

In this interview with president Obama several major issues were discussed some of the most important being the current turmoil in Egypt as well as the public health care bill. Currently in Egypt the current president Mubarak has held his position in the government with military support while suppressing the people into an economic depression. The revolt taking place is hoping to overthrow this regime and establish legitimate elections in order to put a new leader and system of government in place. This goal is one that president Obama and the United States support. This issue aligns with the controversy regarding the Muslim Brotherhood, a political group in Egypt of Islamic believers who some fear if put into power will be sympathetic to Muslim extremists. Regarding the health care bill, the current question is whether or not the Supreme Court will eventually decide the constitutionality of the bill, and if they do what the decision will mean for the future of universal health care in America.
I think that they hardest part of being president would probably have to be the pressure. Not only the pressure and the responsibility of running the nation, but the pressure that comes from trying to solve problems that you have no control over or have little influence on. When people look for a person to blame it is often the president that faces this criticism, even if they necessarily did not cause the problem or can solve it alone. This I think would be very disheartening and would make dealing with the real issues even worse.

President Obama addressed a couple of important issues including the situation in Egypt and the health care debate in the United States. He also added into the end what it is like to be president and the burdens he bears. He also spoke of how presidency has changed him as a person. I don’t know an immense amount about Egypt, but I do know that the common people have begun to revolt in protest of poverty, unemployment, government corruption, and the tyrannical governance of President Hosni Mubarak. Mubarak has governed Egypt for thirty years and the people are sick of their ruined country. On the other hand, I didn’t know much of anything about the health care issues. I’m not exactly up-to-date on my politics. I’ve heard there’s a lot of fuss, and that only democrats approved it, but other than that, I have to rely on the internet to keep me updated. When Obama introduced the topic of presidency, it was purely opinionated, so I cannot really “know” anything about it other than what he spoke about in the interview.
The Muslim Brotherhood is the largest and oldest Islamic political group in the world. The Brotherhood’s main goal is to instill the Qur’an and Sunnah as, for lack of better words, the “law”. Before the video, I had no idea who the Muslim Brotherhood was, but now that I’ve done my research, I know that they are known for their violent coups. Bill O’Reilly is worried because he believes the Muslim Brotherhood is a threat to the United States. Egypt and the U.S. are very close allies, so if there is a ridiculous amount of scandal and problems in Egypt, then our friendship and our oil supply could be in stake. We need Egypt as an ally because they are so close to the issues in Iraq that they may be of resourcefulness to us.
I feel as if the most important part of being a president would be having the weight of the world on your shoulders, or at least the weight of an entire country. Personally, I don’t think I could take the pressure of having to make important decisions for people who couldn’t make them for themselves, or having to protect 300 million people at once from terrorist attacks I couldn’t track well. Not to mention, the rumors and hatred would be flying in every different direction, and I don’t even want to imagine what that would be like. I don’t know how presidents do it.

1) Identify the issues addressed by President Obama. What do you know about them?
In the conference between President Barack Obama and Bill O’Reilly, the issues that were addressed were those of President Mubarak and his current situation in Egypt, Obama’s healthcare plan, and the threat that the Muslims pose to America and its inhabitants. I was familiar with the current situation in Egypt, but didn’t know about the strong alliance between the US and Egypt. I was also quite unfamiliar with the judge in Florida deeming Obama’s health care bill unconstitutional and that the Supreme Court might not agree with this idea. Ever since the incident on 9/11/2001, I have known very well about the threat of Muslims to the United States and its citizens. The Muslim Brotherhood is also a group brought up in discussion in the interview, one of which I have never been acquainted with until viewing this.

2) Who is the Muslim Brotherhood? Why is Bill O'Reilly worried?
The Muslim Brotherhood is a religious and political group founded on the belief that Islam is not simply a religion, but a way of life. The people in this organization feel that the Islamic laws should be applied to all aspects of life. They oppose President Mubarak and pose as a great threat to the type of government that the Egyptian people are looking for. Bill O’Reilly is worried because he feels that if the United States begins to try and take action to help mediate and fix the situation, the Muslim Brotherhood will also take action by attacking the United States.

3) What do you think would be the most difficult aspect of being President?
I think that the most difficult aspect in being President is trying to make sure that all citizens are happy. He wants the nation to have the best opportunities for its citizens so that he can continue to lead effectively and get reelected by 2012. He understands that he will always be faced with very difficult problems that only he can solve. Also, every thing he says and all decisions he makes will have a huge impact on the American people because one thing he says or does goes wrong, his nation will be in bad condition, adding to the list of bad things our country has already suffered in this past decade. This type of exposure and dependence is way too much, in my opinion, for one man to bear alone.

1) In the interview, president Obama addressed issues such as health care and the current conflict in Egypt between the President (Mubarak) and protesters. What i know about these issues is that, President Obama wants to socialize healthcare but also wants people to be able to keep their own private insurance if they want. The socialized health care plan is highly opposed by republicans. In Egypt there have been protests because they want to overthrow President Mubarak after 30 years as president.

2) The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist group in Egypt with some anti-american views. O'Reilly is afraid of them because he referred to them as "Tough Boys" and he does not want them taking over Egypts government (our ally).

3)The most difficult aspect of being president, in my opinion, would be trying to please everyone. Especially since America is a nation with extremely different individuals, it'd be hard to do what's best for the masses.
