The article that I found most interesting and appealing was “What’s Next or Apple?” I think the article did a really good job of showing respect towards Steve Jobs and all he has done for the company along with answering questions that many people might have. I think a lot of people are wondering what will happen to the company now that Steve Jobs has passed, but this article sums up all those issues. I had a lot of unanswered questions before I read the article, that I am now aware of the answers. For example, I wasn’t sure if Jobs had made any other advancement to Apple, but I learned that he knew that his disease did not give him a lot of time so he worked hard to make sure “his company would live on with his vision and passion.” I also found this article interesting because it talked about that “successor” that Jobs picked out, Tim Cook. He’s a man that is inspiring just like Jobs and the author of this article explained I knew that I was watching a man who knew how to steer the massive ship he now captains, a man with an enormous amount of creative talent in each department. And I thought to myself, You know what? This place is going to be okay.” This article was the most interesting because it shared a lot of new facts about Apples’ corporation.
The most significant story was “Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York Protest”. You always hear in the news how the economy is not doing great and people are wondering whether or not Obama is doing a good job on helping the economy to get better. So this is a good article to see what others are thinking and doing to take action. The people that are protesting camp out to protest because they feel like they are not being properly taken care of. One woman explained that her and her husband almost moved to England because “There’s not much left to rely on here”. This article was significant to read because it is what is happening in the world right now and it shows how much people are affected by the economy and how dedicated they are to trying to make it better or prove a point.

I thought that the “What’s Next for Apple?” was the most interesting article. Steve Jobs was the creator of many ideas that now are successful in the future. The Apple Company is one of the biggest and wealthiest companies. This article showed a lot of their respects to Steve Jobs. I am wondering probably just like many others, are what will happen now that the “creator” has passed. This article sums up the misunderstanding things, and also some of the things people didn’t know about this company and Steve Jobs. The company never went down just because he was sick; they kept on working just as hard. The objects that this huge company created changed the way we live today, for example in the technology field. Some items that apple created was the iPhone iPad, iMacs and new Macbooks. Everyday thousands of people use these. Could you imagine if we didn’t have these? Where would we be? I believe the Apple Company will still be creating new great things, but they just have to face the loss of a hero and inspirer. I believe that this article is very significant because again, where would we be without these. This story makes me and others thing of how we can change and create new things.

After reading the three articles, I thought that the most interesting one was “What’s Next for Apple?” The article described the company’s plans now that Steve Jobs, the creator of it all, passed away. I thought that it was interesting to learn how Jobs had been preparing the company since he found out he was sick. He ended up planning four more years of products for Apple. Before reading this article, I wondered who would become the new leader and take over Steve Job’s role in the company. I found out that this person would be Tim Cook, a man Jobs picked out himself. When I heard about his passing I thought that Apple wouldn’t be as successful as it is now, but the article changed my thoughts about that. It assured readers that the company was left in good hands and still has a number of people who are capable of creating new products and making Steve Job’s future plans become a reality.
I thought that the most significant article was “Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York protest.” This article explained how a movement started outside of the New York Stock Exchange. The movement included people who were protesting against unemployment and the increasing wealth gap. The protest spread to many other cities, including Washington. I thought this was the most newsworthy article because it shows how many citizens want and are waiting for a major change in the country’s economy. One of these people, Brenda Barnes, was considering moving to England because of America’s deteriorating economy. This shows how important it is for the government to try and fix this issue and earn its trust back from some of these citizens. This protest has the potential to turn into a country-wide movement for this change.

The article I found most interesting was “What’s Next for Apple?”. I thought this because it talked about what the company will do now that the creator, Steve Jobs, has died. Since he became ill, Jobs planned four more years of products. The article reassured people that although Steve Jobs is no longer here, the company was left in good hands, has a number of people who are capable of making new electronics and will continue making his plans a reality.
The article I thought was most significant was “Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York protest” because the news is always talking about how the economy isn’t doing well and how there is a widening wealth gap. Now, instead of people not doing much to help it, many are actually going out with a large group of people and are trying to do something about it. Countless people are protesting Wall Street and the increasing wealth gap. The article was the most significant out of the three because it also showed how many people are waiting for a change to come with the economy so they can better afford many of the essential things that they need.

Of the three headlining stories I find the first article about the Occupying Wall Street protest to be the most interesting. The protest reminds me a lot of Vietnam peace protests and this parallel is even mentioned in the article. Although the people aren’t coming together to campaign for peace, they all have a common bond, the losses they’ve faced at the hands of the tumbling economy. The wide variety of people that participate is so interesting and the way the protesters have set up their own schedule and little society. I am interested to find out how successful the protest becomes and if the people can find a way to organize and suggest solutions to start changing some of the things that they are frustrated about. I doubt that much will come from the protest, but I hope that it is successful.
I think that the most significant story is the last article and video which talk about Mitt Romney, his influence on Obama’s Health Care Plan, and how he is often found to be talking out of both sides of his mouth. I think that this issue could have the greatest impact out of the three because Romney is an upcoming presidential candidate and he could potentially hold the next seat as the President of the United States. Since Romney is already a controversial character in politics today I wonder how well he will fare in the election and hope that the public will be able to recognize the issues with his candidacy brought out in this article. It is a big job, holding the highest office in the country, and it is important that the candidates and eventually the next president are trustworthy and reliable.

I found the article discussing the Occupy Wall Street protests to be the most interesting, mainly because I think that it’s the most significant. I believe that of the events discussed in the three articles, this event has the greatest potential to cause the most change for the country. In the article discussing what is to come for apple, it stated: “Apple is too busy trying to change the world, even without Jobs.” The entire article was about how, though the death of Steve Jobs was tragic, nothing will really change with Apple as a whole. The article discussing Rick Perry’s video about Mitt Romney seems, to me, to be nothing more then political mudslinging, which I suppose will affect the outcome of the election. However I believe that typically people have their opinions, and one video regarding one man won’t drastically change that. However, it is clear to me that the Occupy Wall Street protests are attracting a large attention, and therefore could potentially cause drastic change. The article said that the protests have spread to various cities, they attracted a very diverse crowd, and that the protests are growing into a “populist movement for economic change” in all of three weeks. The protests are rapidly gaining popularity, obtaining “hundreds more disfranchised people” each day. I believe that if this large group of diverse people can somehow agree on definitive goals, it can and will change this country.

In my opinion, the most interesting article posted would be “What’s Next for Apple?” I found this article to be the most interesting probably because it was just the most relatable to me. I have a few Apple products at home and I was curious to see what the company has in store now that Steve Jobs has passed away. I now know that Mr. Jobs had around four years worth of products in the works and new things should still be continuing to come out. I also really enjoyed the article because the writer was very respectful to Mr. Jobs. He also specifically met him once, and I think it was cool that he mentioned that.
I think that the most significant article would be “Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York protest,” because the protests occurring in New York right now are only getting bigger and spreading to more cities. I think that out of the three articles assigned right now that this one has the biggest potential to start a type of movement and make history. The sort of mudslinging that is occurring between Rick Perry and Mitt Romney occurs in every election, and even without Steve Jobs, other new inventions are bound to be coming out. However, the protests occurring presently throughout the country may actually have the potential to cause action and do something if they continue.

The Occupy Wall Street article was the most interesting, most relevant, and most important. The article about Steve Jobs might be interesting, but the OWS movement is relevant. The Rick Perry article is disappointing, an attack that takes advantage of a brainwashed audience. The OWS movement is relevant. The cooperative and organic nature of this organization of people is striking and beautiful. The article does some justice in pointing out the group's diversity.

The article I found most interesting was “What’s Next For Apple?” I thought it was interesting how Steve Jobs had already planned four more years worth of products. He was aware of his mortality and he did not spend his time sitting around doing nothing. He obviously loved to create and invent new products and I thought it was inspiring that he spent the time he had left doing what he loved. I was interested in reading that while although Jobs did not meet many of the people who bought and used his products, he still changed all of their lives. Through the new inventions he introduced to the world, Jobs has been a major influence to many with the advancements in technology.
This article is most significant because it is clear that the changes in technology thanks to Jobs and thanks to Apple, have changed the world to make it what it is today. While it is sad that Jobs has passed away, it does not mean it is the end for Apple. There are many senior product managers who will step up and continue to introduce the world to more projects and designs.

I think the most interesting story is the first one, occupy Wall Street: newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York protest. I find this the most interesting because it talks about real world issues that everyday people face and there incredible fait for what there doing to get there voices heard. This is also the most significant in my opinion because it really is about more then just one person. Its about one whole group as a nation. However though I found the second article, what’s next for apple?, the most appealing because I myself am an apple user. I love my Iphone and Steve Jobs ingenuity; I think he was a great guy even though I have never met him. It’s also very sad that he died so young but yet it’s amazing the impact he had on the world and people like the reporter who said he only talked to Mr. jobs once in his life for all of 1 or 2 minutes but still thought he was an amazingly nice guy.

After reading the articles, I found them really quite interesting. The article Occupy Wall Street was interesting to me because it was a big protest, which could very well have a big effect. I think I enjoyed reading about this because New York is my favorite city, and I never really knew how a huge protest could be such a big change. The article stated that the protests spread through to many cities; this protest was manly to spread economic change. I personally think this article has the most ability to make history, and really cause movement. I think it is great that people are standing up for issues that are frustrating them. In the article “What’s Next for Apple?” it discusses how the company Apple has grown so much! I think it is so sad that Steve Jobs, (creator of apple) passed away, but it’s cool to see how one person’s idea or business can be so strong. Obviously Steve Jobs really loved to invent and be creative with new ideas, because he already planned four more years worth of products. Reading this article made me realize how if you set your mind to something you can really achieve it. Lastly the article discussing Rick Perry’s video will have some effect on the election because it talks about Obama’s health care plan, and other topics for the election. I think that this could have a big effect, because Romney he could be the next President of the United States, his opinions and ideas have a big impact on the country. Overall I believe that the “Occupy Wall Street” will have the most impact, because people are protesting and they are saying there opinion and what they want. So then our country leaders usually try to listen to the people, for ideas, so that they are happy.

In my opinion the most interesting of the three articles is the one on RomneyCare and Perry's negative out look on it. I found it very interesting how Perry pieced together snippets of statements and interviews to twist and rework Romney's true statements. I also think that since Perry is hosting a negative campaign against his component, why isn't he overwhelming the public with his healthcare plan if it were to be superior. Their was allot of accusations and slander that I found to be immature and actually juvenile.
As for the most signifigant story I thought it was "What's Next for Apple." The article did an excellent job of paying respect to Jobs and also showing what impact he had on the company and the true drive he pushed the company with. One of my main questions that made me choose this article as the most significant was that it is going to affect our economy. Since apple is one of the fastest growing and leading stocks in the exchange will a downturn jolt the economy? Will the loss of Steve Jobs put the company in a downturn? And most of all will apple even stay afloat?

The most interesting article in my mind was “What’s Next for Apple?.” I found it to be a story all of us can value because of how big Apple has become in this day in time. I was unaware that there were four years of products in the “pipeline” for Apple. Steve Jobs was a man of great admiration and impacted many American’s daily lives with his products, however since he’s passed, everyone seems to be frantic and worried about what’s next. Apple was aware of Steve’s illness, as was himself, but he “spent the last of his energy making sure that his company would live on with his vision and passion,” and also served as chairman of the board until his passing. Apple wasn’t left without any backbone and they envision moving on. Tim Cook, the man responsible of trying to fill Steve Jobs void, plans to continue steering Apple in the right direction and doesn’t seemed worried about a single thing. News such as this is comforting to the public because this technology has been a growing masterpiece to this society. I also view this story as the most significant to us, because we’re in close ties with Apple on a daily basis and with something traumatic like so, we want to know what’s to come and what to expect, we want our questions to be answered and we want Apple to live on.

Of the three articles, I found “What’s Next For Apple?” the most interesting read. Since Steve Jobs passed away, I had been wondering how Apple would handle the leadership transition. It was intriguing to learn that Jobs had already prepared some ideas regarding future technological advancements before his death, and I am looking forward to hearing more about the solar-powered devices in store. I also liked how the writer of the article added his own thoughts on the subject of his passing. Jobs was indeed an inspiration, but I agree that his successor, Tim Cook, is “capable of his own brand of genius.” Thus far, it appears that the company iis adjusting well, which is a reassuring prognosis for me.
That being said, the report on Occupy Wall Street, and, more specifically, the accompanying photo gallery, stuck with me as well. I feel that this story is most significant from a nationwide perspective, especially since the protest has spread to other parts of the country. In a time when everyone is worried about the economy, this movement is demanding that the government pay more attention to the “99%” of the population. Now that the protest has gained momentum, the main question is how these people will use this power. In order for them to make a difference, these people, who come from all walks of life, need to organize some objectives; the article also mentioned Richard Trumka, president of the ALF-CIO, and his desire to get involved. Occupy Wall Street has gotten the attention of many Americans; the next step is to figure out how the protesters can use this attention to make some significant changes.
Lastly, though, the story about Rick Perry’s campaign video was not my favorite. I was not impressed by the tactics he used, which included dramatizing the situation and manipulating quotes out of context. I understand that Mitt Romney’s side-switching is worthy of concern, but it was overdone in this video. I feel that candidates in general should spend less time bashing their opponents, and more effort should go into coming up with strategies to combat the problems they complain about in such videos.

The article I found to be the most interesting was "Whats next for apple?". The article was surprising to me to see how many people loved Steve Jobs and his work. I thought it was very nice of Steve to make sure his company was going to be okay without him after he dies. He seemed like a very caring man because of this. Even though the company hasnt had any ideas of new things after Steve had died, I hope they start moving forward and inventing new things with Steves outlook on the technology. This article was the most significant to me as well because they make sure to say how important Steve was to the company, and how he will always be remember.

Out of the three articles posted, I found the first article on the Occupy Wall Street movement the most interesting. I have been following the movement in my free time, and have also had discussions with my family on the topic. I find most protests interesting, and I respect and admire those who stand up for what they believe in. I also think it's interesting how polarizing the movement is. The article gives the reader the sense that this movement pulls from all walks of life, which I find fascinating. It really appealed to me how the author of the article gave specific examples of people, including a short background on three very different people. It really showed how some protestors are leaving their lives behind, however unstable they might be, to come live in tents in cities across the country. That kind of dedication is admirable, even if you don't agree with what they believe.
As you could probably guess from my intense feelings above, I believe the article on the Occupy Wall Street movement is the most significant. Even if the movement doesn't lead to immense change, at least these people are standing up for what they believe in. During the 1960s and 1970s, people protested against the government and the Vietnam war (as the articles mentions one of the attendees doing). And then what? Except perhaps for the tea party movement, there have been no large protest movements on since the 70s. It is refreshing for a young person who is just beginning to form her own opinions to see other people standing up for theirs. This is a harsh time for many people, as the last few years have been, so to see people finally stepping up and demonstrating their beliefs is significant within itself. This article is significant because it talks about something that is actually important to American politics as well as the American people.

I found the "what's next for apple?" article the most interesting for several reasons. one of the reasons I liked it was because they explained a little bit about Steve Jobs. I thought it was interesting to learn how far in advance he planned his death, it said he had the next four years lined up with products. This just shows how much of a genius Steve Jobs really was, and it also makes me excited to see what apple has to come out with. I also really liked how it recognizes everyone working at apple, not just Steve Jobs. This gives me a lot of hope that apple will continue to inspire people and make new great products.

The article that I found most inspiring and interesting was the one about the protest on Wall Street in revolt of corporate America and the increasing wealth gap in our population. This article is inspiring to me because it shows that the American people can still come together to fight for what they believe in, peacefully. The protesters show initiative, determination, optimism and perseverance in their quest for equality, job opportunities and the reduction of corporate America. This wrongful distribution of wealth has gotten to the point where 1 percent of the United States population holds 34 percent of the wealth. This statistic shows the drastic and revolting gap between the “rich and poor”. New York City is the place to start to make for a more equal and fair job market and to take a stand against Wall Street. It was also inspiring to hear about the other protesters all over the country in major cities standing up for what they believe in and actually calling major attention to the problem in our country. This article was most significant to me because the issue is the most prevalent with the most citizens. The Apple article about the death of Steve Jobs applies to those who buy apple products and invest in Apple technology. The other article about Mitt Romney and Rick Perry applies mostly to the Republican party.

The most significant of the three articles posted was definitely the occupy Wall “Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York Protest.” This protest regarding the current high unemployment and corruption in wall street is in our best interest for the future. This protest has spread rapidly all around the country, and hasn't really been showed in the media till recently. Republicans are for the most part, are against these protests because of their desire for less government interference in businesses, but such changes are necessary in a struggling economy such as today. Democrats on the other hand have had mixed feelings about these protests, many supportive and agreeing on mandatory change, others agreeing with the republicans on in their opinion a pointless protest. Ultimately, this has developed into a blame game and it seem like President Obama has the most fingers pointed at him. Although President Obama's newly passed jobs act was approved, there wont be any results anytime soon and these protests seem to be gradually rising.

The article I found most interesting was What’s Next for Apple? I found this article most interesting because it talked about how the future for Apple might be like without its leader, Steve Jobs. It talked about how when Steve Jobs fell ill and took a medical leave of absence that apple didn’t go into a holding pattern. Apple continued to come up with new products with Jobs taking the medical leave. The article also says that Jobs was “aware of his mortality and he made spent the rest of time making sure that his company would live on with his vision and passion.” Even though since his medical leave as CEO, Jobs still served as a chairman until he passed. Apple has many new ideas that have been sent to be patented, so even with Jobs being gone Apple will continue to innovate and create new products. Before Jobs passed he picked his successor Tim Cook. Even though the creator of Apple, Steve Jobs, is gone; his company will continue to grow and he left behind his legacy of what he created.

The article I found the most significant is Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York protest. I think that this article is the most significant because it talks about people protesting against employment and the wealth of employment. People go to a small park in Lower Manhattan, which is the epicenter of this movement. It started out as a “small college protest and then grew into a circus of hippies, misfits and anarchists” three weeks ago. This movement has rapidly grown as more people come enraged about unemployment, some worried about social security. As this movement grows it is grabbing the attention of the public. “Now, a movement that started with no concrete goals as a simple protest of power must decide what to do with some of its own.” This is a leaderless that is trying to make a change in the economy.

After reading through the three articles, the one that interests me the most is the article about apple, “What’s Next for Apple?” This is because I am interested in technology and am a Mac person. When Steve Jobs died, I didn’t really get sad but that’s mainly because of articles like this one. I knew that the company was going to continue without him because he left a lot of plans for new ideas. Also, the fact that Steve Jobs was focusing on how he could keep the company going even if he passed away was admirable to me. However, I did have some questions after reading the article. One of these questions was how the company will run with a new CEO. I think that the company will continue to run, but unless the new CEO is as devoted as Steve Jobs, Apple will not be as much of an important company in the technology world.
The article that would be the most significant would be the one about the Occupy Wall Street Protests. This event is going to directly affect the nation’s economy; therefore, the protests will cause reactions to occur. Some of these could be when the people start getting affected by it. If the protests cause damage to the economy, people will start protesting against the Wall Street Protesters. However, if the protests boost the economy, the protests will gain support and grow. But if the protests are not ended quickly, there could be larger responses as well. Violence could break out between supporters and people opposing the protests which could devastate the nation even further.

The article that I found the most interesting or appealing is “What’s Next for Apple?” by Clayton Morris. I thought that this story was the most appealing because it describes how Apple will continue after the passing of CEO Steve Jobs. He helped to turn around Apple as a failing company and make it into a top competitor of Sony with the creation of the iPod. Jobs created many innovative projects which have changed how we lived our lives such as the iPod and iPhone. Morris describes how Apple has continued to work in time of Jobs passing. Jobs created projects to help Apple be successful in future years and senior product managers have continued to investigate new projects to begin. Morris explains how under the leadership of Tim Cook, the new CEO, Apple will continue to be successful and competitive. This article was the most interesting and appealing to me because the products Apple has created has had a major impact on my life today. Most people have had an Apple product and it has had a large influence on their lifestyle. I found it interesting to see how Apple will continue without Steve Jobs. The article which I found the most significant is “Occupy Wall Street: Newcomers bring their worries and hopes to New York protest” by Eli Saslow. In this article, Saslow describes the Occupy Wall Street Protests and the atmosphere of them. He takes the perspective of three newcomers to the protests and describes their impression of the organization and atmosphere of these protests. It also describes the reasons people joined the protests and what they are fighting for. This article is the most significant because it helps to inform the rest of the country about the protests and what they are fighting for. It may encourage others to join the protests or bring more attention from the government to the protests. This may result in the most action to be carried out and for recovery to begin. That is why the article about the Occupy Wall Street Protests is most significant.

i think the story about the death of steve jobs and whats next for apple is the most appealing to me. i try to keep up to date with all the apple products and its a shame that steve jobs's life was cut short. but he couldnt do his job without the help of his design team and other brilliant staff members that are able to realize his visions. although leaving loose ends with his death, i think apple will continue success for many years to come.I think the article on Occupy wal street was the most significant. it seems that people think that if you argue and protest and preach change in large quantities that you will achieve it. this could escalade into something much bigger and history has shown us that mass protest can end in the loss of lives and things like that, as was demonstrated by anti-war protest movements during the vietnam war.
